I used to be disgusted, but now I try to be amused
It’s hard advice to take. Costello was obviously unable to follow it having written, for example, “Tramp the Dirt Down” – a song from the late 80s that recently experienced a curious revival.
Update (20130606): From a post at Snaphanen comes this video from Nick Lowe who produced the album above (in 1977): by 1979, Mr Lowe didn’t seem quite so interested in being amused.
