The Demoralization of Americans

Jesse Kelly has made reference to Yuri Bezmenov (or Besmenov?) a couple of times in the last week or so. The first time he linked to a twitter thread with various videos of Mr Bezmenov explaining the true purpose of the KGB among lots of other similar things:

The main emphasis of the KGB is not in the area of intelligence at all. Only about 15% of time, money, and manpower is spent on espionage and such. The other 85% is a slow process which we call either ideological subversion or active measures … or psychological warfare.

The second mention from Kelly is a quote on what a successful demoralization or brainwashing looks like.

Once a person has been demoralized, exposure to true information does nothing to him. I could take him to the Soviet Union by force and show him the concentration camps and he would still refuse to believe it.
