Self-defense?

If you were living in the UK and wondered, what with the rising crime rates there, [a]re there any legal self defence products that I can buy?

Short answer, no. Nothing.

Let’s start out with “[t]he only fully legal self defence product at the moment is a rape alarm”. That’s it. The only tool to use when being assaulted, robbed, or raped. It is termed a self-defense product, but I don’t see there being much defense provided.

In fact, actual self-defense is right out.

You must not get a product which is made or adapted to cause a person injury. Possession of such a product in public (and in private in specific circumstances) is against the law.

It is acceptable to use a spray bottle with colored dyes (not pepper sprays) as long as the spray-ee is not harmed in any way.

But in truth, the authors, the police in the UK, are so terrified and/or in agreement with their utterly diabolical court system that they conclude:

The above advice is given in good faith, you must make your own decision and this website cannot be held responsible for the consequences of the possession, use or misuse of any self defence product

It is your duty as a citizen to accept your fate.
