The Real Issue

Yesterday saw the declaration that Miss America would not have swim suit or evening gown competitions anymore. There was some expected grumbling, of course, which was followed by the usual accusations of sexism or whatever, to which Schlichter responded:

I don’t think a lot of men care about Miss America per se.
The real issue for men is their annoyance at the underlying premise that it’s somehow wrong for men to dig attractive women, and for women to strive to be attractive to men.

The follow-up comments were fun too.

Well I guess they can move it to radio now
