A link from Instapundit pointing to a new post from Mr Schlicter and another from David Marcus at the Federalist. The latter is unusually perceptive but almost never willing to accept the consequences of his findings. Indeed, as Instapundit writes – and Schlicter agrees:
I disagree with the thesis of [Marcus'] piece that people on the right should embrace civility and normalcy. Civility and normalcy are privileges that require a broad consensus. Conservatives have been utter failures at “conserving” these traits.
