When they defend taxes it’s about roads. When they spend them it’s high-priced consulting contracts for cronies.
Or social programs based on false premises (Sex Ed programs, low-income housing – low-income anything, much of recent environment policy)… and administrators. Always the administrators. Any program could use more administrators.
