One Upmanship
Insty posts a link from the (as usual oh-so sanctimonious) Guardian about how awful it that that cruise ships are still landing in Haiti. He comments that “Stopping these visits might help rich people in developed countries feel better about themselves, but it won’t do anything for Haiti, which still needs money”. Another good quote from an emailer is presented, followed by this:
Rich people on cruise ships give Haiti money voluntarily through evil capitalism. What they really need is handout money confiscated by force from the middle class and given through government compassion.”
Yes. Very well stated.
And from the AOSHQ post about the ass-kicked Dallas Cowboys comes question “Is there any team in America that is more fun to watch losing than the Dallas Cowboys?” To which is responded:
On the contrary. The Democrats are more fun to watch losing than the Cowboys and I say that as a lifelong Redskins fan.
You should click on that link to see one of the few good things about the Dallas Cowboys.
